We are seeking a meticulous and tech-savvy Quality Assurance Analyst/Website Tester to ensure our websites and mobile apps are functional, user-friendly, and error-free across various devices and browsers. As a Website Tester, you will be responsible for identifying issues, suggesting improvements, and ensuring that the user experience meets our high standards. Your role will be critical in delivering a seamless, high-quality web experience for our users.

• Execution of the quality check phase of website development life cycle and process for multiple projects.
• Performing User Interface testing, including responsive testing on physical devices such as mobiles and tablets.
• Test Web and Mobile apps for pixel-perfect user interface and user experience.
• Creating the test plan providing effort estimates for testing with inputs from the Project Manager and Development Team.
• Preparing Data-sets for accurate testing.
• Writing and executing test cases/scenarios to verify specifications.
• Documenting Test Results in a structured format.
• Performing feature tests based on a thorough understanding of feature requirements and desired behaviour with cross-browser compatibility testing.
• Perform customer purchase lifecycle testing for E-commerce websites.
• Knowledge of writing automated test scripts is preferable.
• Stakeholder management & overall project management for 2-3 projects at a time
• The test analyst is expected to document all testing details in a testing tool and Follow agreed guidelines.
• Participate in requirement analysis and static testing.
• Participate in test estimations for project.
• Create test cases/ scripts/ charters/ data sheets/ sample data
• Demonstrate an improvement in business and/or system knowledge in your relevant program line
• New functionality is to be documented and shared with the larger testing team so that all are aware of any new changes to system behaviour and functionality
• Send out daily/weekly progress reports. Ensure that test case execution and defect statuses are reported in a clear and concise form in daily/weekly progress reports.
• Demonstrate implementation of process, strategy and/or testing improvement/efficiencies.

Skills

• 2-4 years of work experience in Manual Testing.
• Experience in testing web applications, including E-commerce websites.
• Working knowledge of functional, GUI, Performance and Regression testing.
• Strong knowledge of QA procedures, principles, and tools.
• Strong experience in testing both Web and Mobile apps.
• Strong experience in testing responsive websites for pixel-perfect User Interface and User Experience.
• OS, Browser, and Device compatibility testing.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodology, e.g. Scrum & XP, and Sprint cycles. Preferably worked in an agile environment in the past.
• Preferred knowledge of Asana, Jira and similar applications including different browsers like Chrome, Firefox, Safari, etc.
• In-depth understanding of standard testing practices like test case preparation, test execution, defect identification, and management.
• Ability to work with the development team to understand the technical requirements and develop a test strategy.
• Working knowledge of JSON.
• Comfortable writing database queries for fetching specific data, and perform various DB procedures and functions.
• Willingness to learn new frontend and backend technologies related to testing case management and execution.
• Should have an understanding of Functional testing, Load testing, Performance Testing, etc.
• Good understanding of SDLC.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Good understanding of Automation tools like Selenium, JMeter, Ghost Inspector, etc.
• Knowledge of operating Selenium Web Driver.
• Full-stack development experience using JavaScript and any framework based on it.
• Working knowledge of any object-oriented programming language, e.g. Java, C#.
• Working knowledge of any scripting language, e.g., Python and Go.
• Working knowledge of at least one version control tool: SVN, Git, Perforce, GitLab, Bitbucket, GitHub, etc.
• Other Tools familiarity: Bamboo, Maven.
• Experience using SQL for database Queries.
• Strong verbal and written (technical) communication skills to explain bugs and other issues identified and produce bug reports, documentation and feedback to both product owners and software developers.
• Ability to work in an environment of perfection and compliance with web standards and high design quality benchmarks.

Qualification

UG: BCA or Bachelor of Engineering (preferably in Computer Science or Information Technology)
PG: MCA or Similar
