Quality Assurance Analyst - Food

To assist and facilitate the implementation of food safety and quality management across all stores and commissaries, and to conduct technical research for process improvement in relation to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), including food safety concerns such as food equipment, environmental, and personnel microbiology.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assures quality of raw materials through sampling and checking
• Makes supplier quality reports and performance reviews
• Maintains a database of all commissaries and suppliers, as well as proper documentation from suppliers.
• Assures quality of in-process and finished goods through sampling and checking, and facilitates in-line monitoring
• Monitors GMP and Personal Hygiene
• Makes GMP and finished goods quality index reports
• Ensure corrective actions are properly applied to non-conformities
• Computes and prescribes nutritional facts being cascaded to stores
• Determines allergen content of food items
• Conducts GMP Training to all food handlers in commissaries
• Checks and verifies if food handlers had passed the GMP Training
