Quality Assurance & Control

About the role

This role involves ensuring all project work complies with specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. You will conduct inspections and testing of work at site according to Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) where applicable, and maintain inspection records, QA/QC reports, and related documentation. You will identify non-conformances, monitor corrective and preventive actions, and liaise with customers, consultants, and subcontractors on quality issues. You will verify that materials used meet specified requirements, conduct internal audits and monitor compliance with company procedures, and provide awareness and guidance to project teams on quality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all project work complies with specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements
• Conduct inspections and testing of work at site according to Inspection & Test Plan (ITP), where applicable
• Prepare and maintain inspection records, QA/QC reports, and related documentation
• Identify non-conformances and monitor corrective and preventive actions
• Liaise with customers, consultants, and subcontractors on quality issues
• Ensure materials used meet specified requirements
• Conduct internal audits and monitor compliance with company procedures
• Provide awareness and guidance to project teams on quality requirements
• Perform other tasks as directed by management from time to time

About you

• Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quality Management or related field
• 1–3 years of experience in QA/QC, construction projects, telecommunications or related industries (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 is an advantage
• Able to read technical drawings and project specifications
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
• Good communication skills, problem-solving ability and report preparation skills
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to conduct site visits when required
• Valid driving license is an advantage
