Quality Assurance & Control Officer

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance & Control Officer to join Lines and Stripes Manufacturing and Distribution Inc. in Plaridel, Bulacan. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and compliance across our manufacturing and distribution operations. As Quality Assurance & Control Officer, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality control procedures, ensuring that all products meet our stringent quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction, brand reputation, and operational efficiency, making this a strategically important role within our organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Develop, implement and maintain quality control procedures, processes and documentation systems
• Monitor and analyse quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement
• Investigate product defects and non-conformances, documenting findings and implementing corrective and preventative actions
• Coordinate with production teams to address quality issues and ensure timely resolution
• Maintain detailed records of quality inspections, test results and audit findings
• Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, regulations and company policies
• Perform internal audits and support external audits from regulatory bodies and customers
• Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality requirements and procedures
• Prepare quality reports and present findings to management

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, or a related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems and best practices in quality control
• Proficiency in using quality control equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies and defects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate root causes and implement effective solutions
• Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with quality management software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across departments
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations is preferred
