QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSOCIATE

Key Responsibilities

• Review PODs for all delivered parcels and verify that the delivery is properly supported by evidence.

• Check delivery photos to ensure they clearly show the parcel and provide reasonable evidence that delivery was completed.

• Verify that the POD contains the required information, such as:

  • Delivery photo
  • Recipient/receiver information
  • Signature, when required
  • Date and time of delivery
  • Delivery location or other required details

• Identify PODs that are missing, incomplete, unclear, inconsistent, or suspicious.

• Detect potential false or fraudulent PODs, including evidence that does not reasonably support the claimed delivery.

• Flag questionable deliveries for further investigation by the appropriate Operations team.

• Maintain accurate records of verified, rejected, and flagged PODs.

• Prepare daily or periodic reports on POD verification results.

• Monitor recurring POD issues and identify patterns that may indicate process or compliance problems.

• Coordinate with Operations, Delivery Riders/Drivers, Customer Service, and other relevant teams regarding POD discrepancies.

• Follow established QA procedures and verification standards consistently.

• Escalate serious or repeated discrepancies to the QA Supervisor or Operations Manager.

• Maintain confidentiality and integrity when handling customer and delivery information.

• Perform other quality assurance and administrative duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate is someone who is extremely observant and detail-oriented. Small inconsistencies should not easily escape their attention.

You should be able to look at a POD and ask:

“Does this evidence actually prove that the parcel was delivered to the correct recipient/location?”

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Quality Assurance, Logistics, Operations, Data Verification, Auditing, or Administrative work is an advantage.
• Experience reviewing PODs or delivery records is a plus.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Comfortable working with digital photos, delivery records, and online systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to work independently and meet daily productivity and accuracy targets.
• Willing to perform repetitive verification tasks while maintaining a high level of concentration.

Important Requirement

Attention to detail is critical for this position.

The person hired for this role must understand that a parcel should not be considered properly delivered simply because the system status says “Delivered.” The supporting proof must also be reviewed and must reasonably demonstrate that the delivery actually took place.

The successful candidate must be willing to flag questionable PODs, investigate discrepancies, and uphold the company's delivery standards even when doing so requires additional checking or follow-up.
