QUALITY ASSURANCE

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance professional to join BW SUPERBAKESHOP-ELJIN in Tarlac, Central Luzon. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and consistency across our manufacturing operations. As a Quality Assurance specialist, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality control procedures to ensure all products meet our rigorous standards and regulatory requirements. This position is fundamental to protecting our brand reputation and ensuring customer satisfaction in the competitive bakery and food manufacturing industry.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular inspections and testing of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications
• Monitoring production processes to identify potential quality issues and implementing corrective actions to prevent defects
• Developing and maintaining quality control documentation, including standard operating procedures, test protocols, and inspection checklists
• Performing laboratory tests and analyses to verify product safety, shelf-life, and nutritional content
• Liaising with production teams to communicate quality requirements and provide guidance on maintaining product standards
• Recording and analysing quality data to identify trends and recommend improvements to manufacturing processes
• Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies
• Conducting audits and investigations into product failures or customer complaints
• Training production staff on quality standards and best practices
• Maintaining detailed records of quality assurance activities and test results for traceability and regulatory purposes

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Food Science, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience working in quality assurance within food manufacturing, bakery production, or related industries
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, HACCP principles, and relevant regulatory requirements
• Proficiency in quality control testing methods and laboratory equipment operation
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with production and management teams
• Knowledge of statistical process control and quality management systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and manage multiple priorities
• Preferably, experience with ISO 9001, food safety certifications, or Six Sigma methodologies would be advantageous
