Quality Assurance Consultant

INTRODUCTION & SUMMARY: The role of the Quality Assurance Consultant involves designing, developing, and executing both manual and automated tests, with a commitment to ensuring software quality and optimizing testing processes across various environments. The ideal candidate will be proficient in test automation frameworks and have a solid foundational understanding of software testing principles.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: The Quality Assurance Consultant will:

• Analyze system requirements and design test automation strategies.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and load testing.
• Implement test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Appium, Playwright, or JUnit/TestNG.
• Run manual and automated tests across different environments and report results.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines for automatic validation during deployments.
• Detect and report defects found during manual and automated test execution.
• Collaborate with developers to identify and resolve system issues.
• Evaluate new tools and techniques to enhance test automation.
• Ensure automated tests are consistent with software quality standards.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

• Demonstrated experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts.

• Experience with performance testing tools.
