Quality Assurance Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Coordinator to join our Mordialloc manufacturing team on afternoon shift. Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality and compliance across our site. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives that support operational excellence and help us deliver the delicious, high-quality bakery products our customers and consumers trust every day.

Working closely with Production and Technical teams, you will be responsible for supporting and improving our Quality Management System (QMS), conducting investigations and root cause analysis, managing any customer complaints and non-conformances, coordinating internal audits, supporting traceability and recall programs, championing allergen management, and ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and food safety requirements.

This is a hands-on role with a strong presence on the factory floor, providing coaching and guidance to operational teams while helping maintain the highest standards of product quality and food safety.

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

• At least 2 years' experience in a QA, Technical or Quality role within food manufacturing
• Experience working with quality systems, food safety programs, HACCP and GMP
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct effective root cause investigations
• Excellent communication skills with the confidence to engage stakeholders across all levels of the business
• Qualifications in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, Engineering, or a related discipline
• A proactive approach with a passion for continuous improvement and product quality
