Quality Assurance Engineer

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Conducts inspections on elevator and escalator units under paid maintenance contracts and newly installed units (jointly with the E/E Installation Department) to ensure operational safety and compliance
• Assists in on-site troubleshooting and analysis of elevator and escalator issues, particularly those requiring advanced technical skills and the use of diagnostic instruments
• Generates internal and external reports covering inspections, service quality, and troubleshooting activities
• Inspects and confirms the severity of punch list items found related to safety and recommends suspension of elevator/escalator operation if necessary
• Coordinates with branch supervisors to schedule technical site inspections, including factory-related reconstruction and investigation requests
• Adheres to IEE quality policy and quality objectives of Safety and Quality Assurance Department

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduate of BS in Electrical Engineering, preferably licensed by the Professional Regulations Commission
• Must have good communication skills and fluent in both Oral and written English and Filipino
• Must be computer literate and has a working knowledge on various PC Based software
• Can relate effectively to all types of people in the organization and with strong leadership potential
