Quality Assurance Engineer

Join Auto Antenna Manufacturer as a QA Executive in our Shah Alam facility. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the excellence of our manufacturing processes and the high quality of our products. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers exciting opportunities for professional development.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct thorough inspections and tests at all stages of the manufacturing process to identify and address quality issues.
• Handle customer complaints and warranty claims, coordinating responses and ensuring timely resolution.
• Analyze data and generate detailed reports to track quality metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor and guide lab technicians on testing and calibration activities.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and other departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain comprehensive quality records and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and internal policies.
• Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures.
• Continuously research new quality assurance methods and technologies to enhance processes.
• Manage PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation and liaise with customers as required.
• Plan and monitor reliability tests in accordance with customer and industry standards.
• Conduct MSA (Measurement System Analysis) studies and SPC (Statistical Process Control) activities for new products and equipment.
• Audit and verify new parts, materials, and process changes that affect product quality.

What we're looking for

• Degree or diploma in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a quality assurance role within the manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Proficient in using quality control tools and software, such as statistical process control (SPC) and Six Sigma
• Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations, such as IATF 16949 & ISO 9001:2015
