Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be the gatekeeper of quality for our supply chain, ensuring that all incoming parts meet our rigorous standards. You will play a pivotal role in supplier development, audit processes, and maintaining the excellence of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Quality Control: Oversee and control the quality of parts received from suppliers, including Incoming Inspection, First Lot Inspection, and Self-Inspection processes.
• Part Approval: Manage the Sample Part Approval process to ensure all components meet technical specifications before mass production.
• Corrective Action (CAR): Issue Corrective Action Reports (CAR) for non-conforming (NG) parts and perform rigorous follow-ups to ensure root causes are addressed.
• Supplier Audit & Evaluation: Conduct regular Supplier Audits and evaluations to verify and improve the supplier’s quality management systems.
• KPI Management: Align all quality activities with company policies to consistently achieve and exceed KPI targets.
• Reporting: Generate comprehensive Weekly and Monthly Quality Reports for management review.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related fields).

• Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) from engineering drawings.
  • Solid knowledge of TQM (Total Quality Management) and QC tools.
  • Hands-on experience with basic measuring equipment.

• Language & IT Skills:

  • Good English proficiency (Both writing and speaking) for professional communication and reporting.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Excel (for data analysis) and Outlook.

• Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional Problem-Solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent Communication and Negotiation skills, with the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
