Location: MIDC Phase III, Chakan industrial, Pune, Maharashtra.

Reports To: Production Engineer / Engineering Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Quality Engineer responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving quality systems and processes in line with ISO 9001 standards. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, risk assessment, problem-solving, and ensuring customer and OEM compliance throughout the product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor Control Plans, PFMEA, and Work Instructions in compliance with ISO 9001 standards.
• Conduct RCA and implement CAPA for non-conformities identified during line and internal audits.
• Participate in Gemba Walks and LPAs to identify quality risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Engineering, Supply Chain) to resolve recurring quality issues.
• Prepare, review, and submit PPAP documentation for new or modified components, ensuring adherence to OEM and customer requirements.
• Support APQP activities, including quality planning, risk assessments, and process capability studies, to meet project milestones on time.
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific requirements and support audit readiness.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality systems
• Good analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Education & Experience:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in Quality Engineering / Quality Assurance (manufacturing environment preferred)
