What they need

Who we are:

At Officetrax, we simplify the complex world of facility management with innovative software solutions trusted by businesses across North America. Our platform helps companies streamline work orders, manage assets, and strengthen vendor performance — all from one centralized, intuitive hub.

Our mission is simple: reduce downtime, boost efficiency, and give organizations the visibility and control they need to succeed. From retail and hospitality to healthcare and commercial real estate, Officetrax connects internal teams, service providers, and vendors in real time, providing visibility, control, and measurable results.

Guided by our values – People First, Integrity, Innovation, and Collaboration – we’re building not just smarter software, but a stronger culture where every team member has the opportunity to grow, make an impact, and shape the future of facilities management.

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our software solutions through manual and automated testing. Working closely with developers, product managers, and other cross-functional team members, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality releases and continuously improving customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and execute manual and automated test cases.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Participate in requirements and design reviews to ensure testability.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and regression test suites.
  • Validate bug fixes and verify software releases.
  • Assist in improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.
  • Communicate testing progress, risk, and results to project stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies.
  • Experience writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Experience testing web-based applications and APIs.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using Playwright, TypeScript, and Zephyr for automated testing and test execution management.
  • Hands-on experience in mobile testing for Android and iOS applications.

What We Offer:

As a team member at Officetrax, you’ll enjoy:

  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
  • Flexible working hours and hybrid work options.
  • Paid vacation and personal development days.
  • A collaborative, inclusive, and people-first culture where your ideas and contributions matter.
  • Opportunities for learning, growth, and career advancement within a growing company.

Compensation:

$55,000 to $62,000
