QA Engineer - Manual Testing

About the Role

We’re looking for a Manual QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of web/SaaS products . You’ll own test execution, identify edge cases, validate workflows , and work closely with product and engineering teams.

What We’re Looking For

• 1-4 years of experience in Manual QA/Software Testing.
• Hands-on experience testing web applications or SaaS products .
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, exploratory, and negative testing .
• Ability to independently create test scenarios and identify edge cases .
• Strong bug reporting and defect lifecycle knowledge.
• Good understanding of severity and priority .
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Test web applications, UI flows, workflows, edge cases, and integrations.
• Create and execute test cases based on product requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, exploratory, and negative testing .
• Identify, document, and track bugs with clear reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results.
• Re-test fixes and perform regression testing before releases.
• Identify gaps in requirements, test coverage, and product workflows.
• Test task prompts and graders for clarity, accuracy, and correct pass/fail evaluation.
• Identify grader bugs, edge cases, false positives, and false negatives.
• Maintain test cases, test plans, and regression checklists.
• Participate in requirement and feature discussions from a QA perspective.
• Prioritize defects based on severity and impact and collaborate with developers on resolution.

Good to Have

• Experience with enterprise SaaS/B2B products.
• Familiarity with Jira, GitHub, Google Sheets, or Postman .
• Basic understanding of APIs, databases, frontend/backend systems, and data seeding .
• Experience testing enterprise products such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Canva, Power BI, or DocuSign.
• Exposure to AI/LLM products or AI evaluation .
