Quality Assurance Engineer

Role description

• Independent and self-directed project management using modern project management methods and implementing automotive industry requirements (APQP)
• Responsibility for compliance with requirements of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards during the development and implementation of products and production processes in close collaboration with project managers
• Analysis and implementation of quality-related customer specific requirements
• Planning and implementation of quality and testing concepts
• Preparation of incoming goods and production inspections
• FMEA moderator in the responsibility area
• Preparation of specific documents such as control plans, process flow diagrams, test plans, etc.
• Preparation, attendance, and management of customer visits, audits, and Run@Rates
• Management of customer claims in the responsibility area (suppliers/ 0-km/field)
• Definition of containment actions, corrective actions and improvement measures, as well as monitoring of action plans for implementation and effectiveness review.
• Close collaboration with other departments Conducting process and machine capability studies

Requirements

• Successfully completed technical university
• Several years of professional experience in quality management/quality assurance, preferably in the automotive industry
• Good knowledge of the quality requirements and QM tools specific to the automotive supplier industry, such as 8D, FMEA, APQP, PPAP, MSA, SPC
• Problem-solving skills using common tools (5Why, Ishikawa, ...) and analytical thinking
• Good knowledge of English spoken and written, German language is a plus.
• Good MS Office and SAP skills, operating in customer portals is a plus.
