Quality Assurance Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure project quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in telecommunications network deployment and maintenance. The successful candidate will oversee quality management processes, evaluate subcontractor performance, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with project standards and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Quality Inspection and Compliance: Conduct quality inspections based on the Quality Control (QC) Plan and perform self-checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
• Subcontractor Quality Management: Evaluate subcontractor qualifications, work practices, tools, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Ensure subcontractors comply with project quality standards and company QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety) requirements.
• End-to-End Quality Management: Oversee the end-to-end (E2E) quality management of projects, ensuring quality standards are consistently met throughout project delivery.
• Work Order Validation: Validate work orders, address escalations from Field Engineers, and conduct root cause analysis to resolve quality-related issues.
• Quality Planning and Implementation: Develop project Quality Assurance (QA) Plans and coordinate with project teams to ensure effective implementation of customer and company quality requirements.
• Quality Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor, measure, and analyze project quality performance. Identify potential issues and risks, provide timely warnings, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead quality improvement initiatives, optimize project processes, and work with relevant teams to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
• Internal Control and Audit: Monitor internal control risks throughout project delivery, conduct regular audits, identify compliance gaps, and drive corrective actions to ensure adherence to established processes and standards.
• Cybersecurity Compliance: Develop and implement cybersecurity inspection plans, monitor compliance, identify potential security risks, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Site Safety and Quality Supervision: Conduct on-site inspections of subcontractor qualifications, tools, and PPE. Ensure field personnel follow established QEHS policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent qualifications.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in quality assurance, quality control, telecommunications, or network project delivery.
• Knowledge of telecommunications Outside Plant (OSP), Last Mile deployment, network maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Experience in quality inspections, project audits, root cause analysis, and process improvement is an advantage.
• Familiarity with project quality standards, subcontractor management, and occupational health and safety requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• Good command of written and spoken English, with strong communication and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• A proactive team player who can work independently, manage priorities, and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
