Everforth Apex Systems Mexico is seeking a Mid Tosca Automation Engineer to support a large-scale enterprise modernization and application delivery program. This role is responsible for designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated functional regression testing solutions using Tricentis Tosca . The engineer will operate independently from development teams to provide objective quality validation, prevent regression issues, and support release readiness decisions through robust automation practices.

The ideal candidate combines deep Tosca expertise, strong testing methodology knowledge, and experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. This individual will work closely with QA leadership, project teams, and DevOps engineers to ensure quality standards are consistently enforced across multiple environments

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain automated functional regression testing solutions using Tricentis Tosca.
• Develop and maintain Model-Based Test Automation (MBTA) frameworks.
• Create reusable Tosca Modules and Business Component Libraries.
• Design parameterized and maintainable test cases aligned with business requirements.
• Implement data-driven testing approaches using Tosca Test Data Management (TDM).
• Execute automated regression test suites across Development, Integration, and UAT environments.
• Analyze execution results and identify root causes of failures.
• Document defects with detailed reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
• Capture and maintain test execution artifacts including screenshots, logs, and execution reports.
• Validate functional equivalence throughout application releases and modernization efforts.
• Integrate Tosca automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Configure automated test execution using Tosca DEX agents or command-line execution methods.
• Support implementation of quality gates and release readiness criteria.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to optimize automation execution performance and scalability.
• Ensure automated testing contributes meaningfully to deployment and promotion decisions.
• Work with QA Leads to align automation coverage with business requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Support enterprise testing standards and automation best practices.
• Participate in release readiness assessments and defect review activities.
• Collaborate with development, testing, accessibility, performance, and security teams.
• Contribute to quality documentation and testing governance processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 3+ years of software quality assurance and test automation experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tricentis Tosca.
