Quality Assurance Executive

About the role

This role involves establishing and maintaining documentation for MESTI, HALAL, GMP, HACCP and Food Safety Management Systems. You will continuously review, evaluate, improve and implement quality management systems to comply with latest quality and food safety management standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain all documents required for MESTI, HALAL, GMP, HACCP and Food Safety Management System
• Continuously review, evaluate, improve and implement quality management systems to comply with latest quality and food safety management standards and regulatory requirements
• Liaise with regulatory and certification bodies for all accreditations and compliance matters
• Manage pest control, plant hygiene and sanitation
• Manage all customer complaints within timeline, including proper investigation and effective corrective actions
• Participate in internal and external third-party audits
• Work with relevant departments to review new product recipes, process flow, identify and manage associated hazards, validate processes and manage with operation team closely
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of applicable food regulations, guidelines and standards for both domestic and export markets
• Provide information for local and overseas packaging labelling, artwork and involve in final artwork approval
• Establish SOPs and conditions for handling, storage, and preservation of products

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or equivalent

• Familiar with Halal, GMP, HACCP, ISO and FSSC22000 standards and requirements

• Working experience in food manufacturing industry as Food Technologist or Research & Development role or equivalent is desirable but fresh graduate is welcomed

• Experience in QA is preferable
