Quality Assurance Inspector

About the Role

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining product excellence by ensuring all manufacturing outputs align with rigorous technical specifications. By leveraging your expertise in precision measurement and root cause analysis, you will directly influence the reliability of our production cycles and drive continuous improvement across the facility.

Responsibilities

• Execute comprehensive inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and final products to verify adherence to quality benchmarks.
• Utilize precision measurement tools and testing equipment to validate product conformance against engineering blueprints.
• Maintain meticulous records of inspection data, test results, and non-conformance reports to ensure full traceability.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve quality discrepancies efficiently.
• Oversee the calibration and preventative maintenance schedules for critical quality measurement instrumentation.
• Facilitate First Article Inspections (FAI) and contribute to internal audit processes to uphold regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine production workflows and enhance overall operational efficiency.
• Mentor production staff on quality standards and standardized inspection methodologies.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in a quality control or assurance capacity within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Demonstrated ability to use various inspection gauges, calipers, and testing hardware.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on detail-oriented documentation and reporting.
• Capability to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Skills

• Direct experience with Lean, 5S, or Six Sigma continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with quality management software and production tracking digital tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical quality findings to diverse teams.
