Quality Assurance Inspector

Nevatronix is hiring a quality assurance inspector for our Las Vegas manufacturing facility. We design and build kiosks, cabinets and enclosures for gaming and financial technology customers under an ISO 9001:2015 quality system. You will inspect incoming material, in-process parts and finished units, and own the records that prove they meet the drawing.

What you will do

• Inspect incoming materials, purchased parts and customer-supplied parts against the purchase order, packing slip, drawing and customer data
• Perform in-process and final inspection of sheet metal parts and assembled units to blueprints, specifications and work instructions
• Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges and other inspection equipment
• Verify material certifications and supplier paperwork, and check for hidden damage
• Record traceability information: part number, revision, material, process and inspection results
• Write up nonconforming material and work with production and engineering to close it out
• Perform first article inspections and keep inspection records per our quality system
• Keep inspection equipment in calibration and report anything out of tolerance

What we need

• Two or more years of quality inspection in metal fabrication or electro-mechanical assembly
• Able to read blueprints, specifications and certifications
• Skilled with hand inspection tools
• Able to follow company quality procedures and work order instructions
• Comfortable on a computer for inspection records and ERP entries
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to have

• Experience working under ISO 9001 or AS9100
• Familiarity with GD&T
• First article inspection experience
• Experience with Mie Trak or another manufacturing ERP

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
