Quality Assurance Inspector

High Speed CNC is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for our AS9100 machine shop in Santa Clara. This role supports in-process and final inspection, and to ensure parts and documentation meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

Review drawings, customer purchase orders, and specifications to identify inspection and outside processing (OSP) requirements.

Prepare AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports and balloon engineering drawings.

Perform AQL sampling inspections, dimensional inspections with precision measuring tools, and visual inspections under magnification.

Operate ZEISS CMMs, maintain inspection records, and keep the calibration system current.

Review supplier processing certifications and work with suppliers to resolve discrepancies.

Update shop routers and travelers with the correct process steps and receiving requirements.

Qualifications

Working knowledge of AS9100 processes and AS9102 First Article Inspection documentation.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Proficiency with micrometers, height gages, optical comparators, Deltronic pins, and other precision inspection tools.

Ability to operate ZEISS coordinate measuring machines.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with accurate data entry skills.

Strong organization, attention to detail, communication, and follow-through.

Ability to multitask and work efficiently.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
