Quality Assurance Manager

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or any related field is required.
• Preferably, the candidate must possess a valid license as a Chemist.
• A minimum of three years of experience in a management role within a manufacturing setting is essential.
• The individual must demonstrate advanced verbal and written communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with various internal departments, suppliers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Willingness to work at the designated location in President Roxas Capiz is mandatory.

DUTIES & RESPONDIBILITIES

• Manages testing of raw materials, in process and finished goods
• Plan duties within the QC staff and related work schedules
• Focus on overall laboratory efficiency with the least cost and all activities must be in strict compliance with the company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate data to ensure reliability of test results
• Recommend methods to minimize the amount of scrap, or leftover material, which is thrown away after a product manufacturing
• Manage individual and team performance by setting individual and team objectives which are aligned to the strategic directive of the organization through, coaching, training, mentoring and evaluating performance
• Ensure flour specifications ate met in compliance to quality and food safety standards.
• Build and strengthen relationships to get people work with you to help advance LFUG GOC goals and objectives. Establish connections with stakeholders, cultivating win-win relationships and avoiding silo mentality.
• Leads by example, takes accountability for development of future leaders.
• Responsible for the overall operations of the laboratory, putting quality control policies and procedures in place to ensure that quality standards are met during in-process / production of finished goods and good laboratory practice are followed.
