Quality Assurance Manager

Main Purpose of the Role

Acts as a guardian of product quality, compliance to regulatory requirements, quality systems and of all functions to  drive continuous improvement in pursuit to ZERO DEFECTS as the essential base for maintaining consumer trust and  preference. 

Accountable for quality results and is responsible for quality system design and enforcement.

Role Description

People: Develop and maintain competencies and quality awareness, and commitment to zero defect in the  factory 

• Quality Systems: Set-up, manage, enforce, and maintain an effective Quality Management System, as well as  ensuring a Document Management System. 

• Good Laboratory Practices: Ensure fully functional and always in tip-top condition of factory laboratory,  including personnel safety, availability of equipment and training of laboratory personnel. 

• Hygiene: Ensure adherence to best hygienic practices in the factory in compliance to cosmetic manufacturing  GMP. Ensure the correct implementation and supervision of the factory pest management program 

• Quality Audit and Verification: Manage the internal auditing program, assessing the performance of the quality  system, reporting its effectiveness to the management and proposing actions for improvement  

• Continuous Improvement and Root Cause Analysis: Ensure the monitoring of key quality  parameters in order to drive structured root cause analysis and continuous improvement in the  quest for zero defect. 

• Compliance and Regulatory: Ensuring 100% compliance of products

• ZERO Production Related Quality Issue 

• 100% Compliance (Regulatory, GMP, GWP and GLP) 

• QA Team: 100% A-Player

KEY EXPERIENCES:

Academic Experience: 

• University graduate or equivalent (preferred microbiology, chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent)

 

Operational Experience: 

• Various positions in QA / QMD including QA in Supply Chain, Supplier QA, Quality Systems, Lab Management • Demonstrated capability to lead a group

 

Business Experience: 

• Management exposure across several functions 

• Proven track record in delivering results by working with cross-functional teams
