Quality Assurance Manager

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback. Responsible for leading and continuously improving Quality You will work cross functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Operations to drive quality performance, reduce defects, improve processes, and enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop standardized production, quality, and customer-service standards
• Identify potential risks before they become a problem, focusing on root cause analysis and preventive action.
• Lead and maintain compliance with the Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001 requirements.
• Partner with Engineering to ensure product designs, engineering changes, and new product introductions meet established quality requirements.
• Oversee customer complaint investigations and warranty concerns.
• Identify trends and implement improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, process capability, and customer satisfaction.
• Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Minimum of five (5) years of quality experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems.
• Proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• ASQ certifications are preferred.
