Quality Assurance (QA) Intern

About the role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented QA Intern to support quality assurance and food safety activities in our health supplement and functional food manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and maintaining SOPs, forms and quality records.
• Check production and batch manufacturing records for completeness.
• Organise COAs, raw-material specifications and supplier documents.
• Assist with GMP, MESTI, Halal and food-safety documentation.
• Monitor production-area cleanliness, employee hygiene and GMP practices.
• Assist in recording deviations, non-conformities and corrective actions.
• Maintain calibration, cleaning, pest-control and training records.
• Help prepare documents for internal, customer and regulatory audits.
• Assist with raw-material, packaging and finished-product traceability records.
• Perform other QA-related duties assigned by the supervisor.

About you

• Currently pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Nutrition, Biotechnology, Chemistry or a related field.
• Basic understanding of GMP, food safety and quality management is an advantage.
• Careful, organised and accurate with documentation.
• Able to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willing to learn and follow company procedures.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
