Quality Assurance (QA) Intern

We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of software testing principles and an interest in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of web and mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in testing web applications, mobile applications, and APIs.
• Execute test cases and identify, document, and report software defects.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Verify bug fixes and ensure that existing functionality continues to work as expected.
• Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test execution reports.
• Collaborate with developers and other team members to investigate and resolve issues.
• Participate in requirement reviews to understand application functionality and expected outcomes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or currently in the final stages of completing the degree.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycles (SDLC) and software testing life cycles (STLC).
• Knowledge of manual testing concepts and test case preparation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with tools such as Postman for API testing.
• Basic understanding of web and mobile application testing.
• Exposure to Jira, bug-tracking tools, or test-management tools.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing is a plus.
• Experience with automation testing tools is an added advantage but is not mandatory
