Job Description

We are looking for an experienced QA/QC Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality control procedures and ensuring that construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant QA/QC experience in construction and infrastructure projects.
• GCC experience preferred, preferably Qatar.
• Experience in road, utility, pipeline, drainage, or civil infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, inspection processes, ITPs, method statements, and project specifications.
• Experience preparing and reviewing Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, MIRs, WIRs, NCRs, and quality documentation.
• Ability to conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site teams.
• Knowledge of relevant international standards and construction specifications.
• Ability to identify quality issues, prepare NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
• Experience with material inspections, testing, and documentation.
• Good understanding of construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and under project deadlines.
• Qatar/GCC experience and transferable visa/NOC are an advantage, where applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with project quality requirements.
• Conduct inspections and coordinate testing activities.
• Review construction activities, materials, and workmanship.
• Prepare and maintain QA/QC records and reports.
• Raise and follow up NCRs and corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspections with the consultant/client.
• Ensure approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and method statements are followed.
• Maintain proper quality documentation throughout the project.
