Quality Assurance / Quality Control - Construction

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA/QC Civil Professional to oversee day-to-day site quality inspections, material checking, and workforce supervision. You will act as the crucial link between site execution, engineering designs, and ground-level labor, ensuring all civil works (RCC, masonry, plastering, finishing) precisely match approved blueprints, specifications, and safety benchmarks.

Role & responsibilities

• Site Supervision & Execution: Coordinate daily workflows for labor, contractors, and subcontractors; track site productivity, verify work schedules, and ensure everything stays aligned with project timelines.
• Quality Assurance & Control: Perform comprehensive site inspections across all civil phasesincluding RCC work, masonry, plastering, flooring, and finishingto verify absolute compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and the Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Material Management & Testing: Inspect incoming raw materials, coordinate required material testing (concrete cube tests, reinforcement checks, etc.), ensure proper storage, and carefully monitor usage to drastically minimize site wastage.
• Measurement & Progress Verification: Check measurements, audit the progress of completed works, flag structural or finishing issues early, and arrange rapid corrections/rectifications as required.
• Reporting & Documentation: Maintain detailed daily site reports (DSR), labor attendance sheets, pour cards, checklists, and accurate project-progress records.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to site safety protocols, hazard identification rules, and mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain clear lines of communication by reporting site roadblocks to the Project/Site Engineer, while smoothly coordinating material requirements and schedules with architects, vendors, and consultants.

Preferred candidate profile

• Industry Experience: Solid background in the Engineering & Construction sector with hands-on exposure to structural and finishing work.
• Functional Area: Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Site Inspection.
• Education: UG: B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent.
