Quality Assurance / Quality Control Technician (Permanent)

1. Perform checking on incoming materials and relevant documentation (ie: material certificate, CoC etc) from suppliers and subcontractor.
2. Execute Supplier Non-conformance process which includes communication with suppliers, supplier claims and Supplier NCR follow-up for incoming defects.
3. Perform quality control checking on in-process and outgoing production parts at FRP, SS and Pultrusion departments.
4. Coordinate Damage Reporting for non-conforming parts to ensure physical items are quarantined, documented and reviewed by appropriate departments.
5. Responsible for monitoring and measuring equipment used in production floor. Ensure timely calibration and tracking of in-house calibration and external calibration activities.
6. Create, revise and improve Quality Control Checklists, work instructions and procedures to ensure appropriate quality controls are implemented and documented.

Job Requirement

1. Min Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
2. Min 5 years of work experience related to manufacturing, oil and gas, construction or related industries.
3. Must have Mathematic skills and able to communicate in written and verbal English and Malay language.
4. Familiar with ISO 9001 and its implementation methods.
5. Basic computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
6. Detailed and able to perform good documentation and record keeping.
7. Must be able work in high level of movement and active manufacturing environment.
8. Have knowledge and experience with measuring devices such as meters, gauges, computers, calipers, protractors, DFT gauges etc.
