Quick Rundown:

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Registered Nurse (QA-RN) to ensure high-quality patient care by monitoring clinical practices, reviewing medical records for accuracy and compliance, and supporting continuous improvement efforts. This role conducts audits, tracks performance metrics, and collaborates with healthcare teams to maintain regulatory compliance, patient safety, and efficient care delivery.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform regular clinical audits and chart reviews to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
• Evaluate patient records, treatment plans, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Identify risks, care gaps, and inefficiencies, and recommend actionable improvements
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, CMS, OSHA) and organizational standards
• Monitor and optimize scheduling processes to align with clinical priorities and reduce disruptions
• Collaborate with clinical, administrative, and scheduling teams to improve workflows and patient experience
• Analyze QA data, track KPIs (patient outcomes, satisfaction, scheduling efficiency), and prepare reports
• Provide feedback, coaching, and training to staff on documentation, compliance, and best practices
• Assist in resolving patient concerns, scheduling conflicts, and care coordination issues
• Support audit readiness and regulatory inspections through accurate documentation and reporting
• Lead or contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery and operational efficiency

What We’re Looking For:

• Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid, active nursing license. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in nursing or healthcare settings. Prior experience in quality assurance, clinical auditing, or healthcare management is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical best practices, healthcare regulations, and quality assurance processes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and healthcare scheduling software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to assess clinical performance and recommend improvements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accuracy in patient records and clinical documentation.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA and other privacy regulations.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with healthcare providers, patients, and administrative teams in a professional and collaborative manner.
• Certification in quality assurance, clinical auditing, or healthcare management (e.g., Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality – CPHQ).
• Participate in the development and review of clinical protocols and procedures to ensure they align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Stay informed on the latest healthcare trends, regulations, and technologies that may impact patient care and quality assurance processes.
• Lead or participate in meetings to discuss patient care improvement initiatives and implement actionable strategies to enhance clinical operations.
