QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

About the role

Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards in a food manufacturing environment. Conduct inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure they meet company specifications and applicable food safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards
• Conduct inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products
• Investigate quality issues and assist in corrective and preventive actions
• Conduct regular quality and sanitation inspections in production areas
• Maintain accurate QA records, reports, and documentation
• Assist in internal audits and regulatory compliance activities
• Ensure products meet company specifications and applicable food safety requirements

About you

• Bachelor's degree in food technology, Food Science, or related field
• Must be a Registered Food Technologist (RFT)
• Experience in quality assurance, food manufacturing, or food safety is an advantage
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
• Good communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Willing to work in a food manufacturing/production environment
