We also offer employee discounts, professional development opportunities, and the chance to work alongside a collaborative, mission-driven team invested in continuous improvement.

WHAT YOU’LL DO HERE

As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play an important role in ensuring the materials and products we receive and manufacture meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. You'll evaluate incoming materials, perform quality testing, review production documentation, and support the timely approval and release of materials and finished products.

This role is also an important partner to our Production and Warehouse teams. You'll provide hands-on Quality support throughout the manufacturing process, help identify and resolve concerns, and maintain the accurate documentation needed to support product quality, compliance, and efficient operations.

Material Evaluation & Product Release

  • Review incoming raw materials, slurry, bulk materials, and purchased products to verify compliance with established specifications and quality requirements
  • Perform in-house evaluations and testing, including sensory assessments when applicable, to confirm materials and products meet quality standards
  • Evaluate and determine the appropriate disposition of materials and products, including approval, rejection, or placement on hold
  • Review and approve materials and products within our ERP system following completion of required Quality activities
  • Coordinate with the Quality Analyst to ensure required third-party testing and analysis are completed
  • Support timely material and product release while maintaining compliance with established procedures

Production Quality & Operational Support

  • Conduct production line Quality inspections and checks to verify compliance with established procedures and specifications
  • Provide additional inspection coverage and hands-on Quality support based on production needs and departmental priorities
  • Review production work orders, Quality checks, and associated documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy before final release
  • Respond to Quality-related questions and concerns on the manufacturing floor, helping evaluate issues and determine appropriate next steps
  • Identify, document, and escalate nonconforming materials, products, processes, or cGMP conditions
  • Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, and other departments to support timely resolution of Quality concerns

Quality Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate and complete records of incoming material evaluations, testing activities, and product disposition
  • Organize and maintain Quality documentation in accordance with established document control and record retention requirements
  • Maintain and update the Master Cleaning Schedule and verify completion of applicable Quality-area cleaning documentation
  • Support compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs), internal procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements
  • Participate in additional Quality System activities and departmental initiatives to support ongoing compliance and continuous improvement

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Skills & Experience

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately review specifications, documentation, and Quality records
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to follow established procedures, identify discrepancies, and appropriately communicate or escalate Quality concerns
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-oriented approach
  • Comfortable using computer-based systems to review, document, and manage Quality information
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment when evaluating materials and products
  • Dependable, accountable, and committed to maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and compliance
  • Willingness to learn new processes, support changing priorities, and contribute to continuous improvement

Education & Background

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing, laboratory operations, or a related regulated environment preferred
  • Experience reviewing product specifications, production records, testing results, or Quality documentation preferred
  • Familiarity with cGMPs, Quality Systems, and regulated manufacturing practices is a plus
  • Experience with ERP systems or similar inventory and production management software is a plus
  • Experience in food, dietary supplement, or a similarly regulated manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered

HOW SUCCESS IS MEASURED

  • Timely and accurate evaluation, disposition, and release of incoming materials and products
  • Completion of required in-house testing and product evaluations in accordance with established specifications and timelines
  • Accurate and thorough production line inspections and Quality documentation
  • Efficient review and release of production work orders with all required Quality activities completed
  • Consistent compliance with cGMPs, Quality procedures, and documentation requirements
