Quality Assurance Technologist

About the role

This full-time Quality Assurance Technologist position at Malaysia Milk Sdn Bhd based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor presents an excellent opportunity to contribute to the quality and safety of our food and beverage products. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of quality assurance throughout our production and distribution processes.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting regular quality checks and inspections at various stages of production to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards
• Analysing product samples and test results to identify and resolve quality issues
• Developing and implementing quality control procedures and documentation
• Collaborating with production, and R&D teams to identify and implement process improvements
• Providing technical support and training to production staff on quality assurance best practices
• Maintaining detailed records and reports on quality metrics and corrective actions
• Staying up-to-date with industry regulations and quality standards

What we're looking for

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality management systems (e.g. HACCP, ISO 22000)
