Quality CMM Engineer FARO

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and program FARO CMM / Portable CMM for dimensional inspection.
• Perform inspection of automotive and aerospace components using FARO measurement systems.
• Create and execute inspection programs using FARO CAM2.
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
• Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), in-process, and final inspection.
• Prepare dimensional inspection reports and analyze measurement results.
• Identify dimensional deviations and support root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Coordinate with Production, Design, and Quality teams for dimensional issues.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of FARO CMM / Portable CMM.
• Hands-on experience with FARO CAM2.
• Good knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings.
• Experience in dimensional inspection and quality control.
• Knowledge of precision measuring instruments.
• Experience in Automotive / Aerospace / Precision Manufacturing is preferred.

Qualification: Diploma / BE / B.Tech Mechanical / Production / Quality Engineering
Experience: 2–5 years
