Quality CMM Operator - 3rd Shift

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality CMM Operator to join our precision manufacturing team. In this hands-on role, you will operate the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect steel and aluminum components and help ensure the quality and accuracy of our aerospace, automotive, and energy parts.

Core Responsibilities:

• Operate the CMM to perform precise dimensional and geometric inspections
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to verify dimensions, alignments, and tolerances
• Perform and document product inspections in accordance with quality standards
• Conduct routine maintenance and basic calibration checks on CMM equipment
• Work with a variety of materials, including carbon steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• Support quality processes and help maintain inspection accuracy and consistency

Qualifications:

• Quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, with demonstrated ability to operate CMM equipment
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred operating CMM equipment (experience with steel and aluminum components a plus)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and geometric tolerances
• Familiarity with precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Knowledge of CNC machining processes, GD&T, or statistical process control (SPC) is a plus
