ABOUT THE ROLE

We are hiring a Junior Quality Control & Procurement Coordinator to support product quality inspections, supplier coordination and purchasing activities.

The successful candidate will ensure that incoming cleaning chemicals, detergents, hand soaps, disinfectants and hygiene products meet required quality standards and purchasing specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PRODUCT QUALITY & INSPECTION

• Inspect incoming hygiene products, cleaning chemicals and general supplies.
• Verify product quality, quantities, packaging, labels and expiry dates.
• Match deliveries against approved samples, purchase orders and specifications.
• Review Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and relevant quality documentation.
• Identify and report damaged, defective or non-compliant products.
• Maintain accurate inspection reports and quality records.

PROCUREMENT & SUPPLIER SUPPORT

• Assist the Head of Purchase with procurement and daily purchasing activities.
• Prepare and coordinate purchase orders, quotations and price comparisons.
• Follow up with suppliers on deliveries, replacements and outstanding orders.
• Maintain supplier information and purchasing records.
• Coordinate with warehouse and accounts teams for timely procurement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Experience in quality inspection, purchasing, inventory or warehouse operations preferred.
• Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals, detergents and hygiene products.
• Qualification in Chemistry, Quality Control or Procurement is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal departments.
• Responsible, proactive and willing to learn.
• Immediate joiners preferred.

SELECTION CRITERIA

Priority will be given to candidates demonstrating practical product inspection skills, familiarity with hygiene and cleaning products, accurate documentation and effective supplier coordination.
