Quality Control & QA Manager

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control & QA Manager with a strong background in FMCG manufacturing to take end-to-end responsibility for plant quality operations, compliance, and cGMP/GMP systems. In this role, you will oversee all incoming, in-process, and final product inspections, drive regulatory documentation, manage vendor approvals, and ensure every batch meets top-tier FMCG quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities1. Quality Operations & Product Inspection

• Oversee end-to-end product inspection protocols across all plant lines: Incoming (Raw Materials & Packaging Materials), In-Process Line Checks, and Finished Goods (FG).
• Check and verify physical, chemical, and quality parameters as per established standards.
• Identify production line defects, immediately isolate non-conforming batches, and report quality issues to plant management.
• Maintain complete, traceable, and audit-ready inspection records, batch release documentation, and testing logs.

2. cGMP/GMP Systems, Audits & Staff Training

• Implement, monitor, and enforce cGMP / GMP systems, hygiene protocols, and plant quality standards.
• Conduct regular internal audits and plant inspections to ensure operational readiness and compliance.
• Train QA/QC personnel, lab technicians, and line operators on standard quality protocols, safety guidelines, and defect identification.
• Lead and manage external, third-party, and regulatory audits.

3. Documentation & Validation Compliance

Prepare, review, approve, and ensure compliance for all essential plant records and protocols:

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across all manufacturing, processing, and testing departments.
• Validation Protocols (Process Validation, Equipment Validation, and Stability Protocols).
• Annual Product Review (APR / APQR) reports summarizing product consistency and quality trends.
• Vendor Approval Protocols for Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM).

4. Vendor Management & Complaint Resolution

• Evaluate, approve, and audit suppliers and vendors for Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM).
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for non-conforming products or customer complaints to eliminate recurring issues.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of hands-on Quality Control / Quality Assurance experience in an FMCG manufacturing plant.
• Education: Graduate or Post-Graduate degree in Chemistry, Applied Sciences, Food Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of FMCG manufacturing systems, cGMP/GMP standards, regulatory compliance, stability testing, and validation protocols.
• Core Competencies: Strong auditing skills, defect identification, vendor assessment, team training, and high precision in quality documentation.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
