QUALITY CONTROL ASSISTANT

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify products during inbound receiving, storage, and outbound shipping to ensure product quality, including:

  • Temperature
  • Expiration/code dates
  • Physical appearance and condition

• Maintain accurate inspection logs, records, and reports using the inventory management system.

• Monitor and ensure proper implementation of FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures.

• Prepare and submit code date/expiration reports and coordinate with the Warehouse Team for proper monitoring and timely action on products nearing expiration.

• Conduct regular checks to ensure products are properly stored, labeled, and handled.

• Ensure warehouse personnel follow established food safety, storage, sanitation, and safety protocols.

• Report damaged, expired, near-expiry, or non-conforming products to the appropriate personnel.

• Assist in maintaining accurate inventory and quality records.

• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience in warehousing, inventory, quality control, or a related field.
• Computer literate, with basic knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management systems.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management, FIFO/FEFO, and food safety practices.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify product quality issues.
• Organized, responsible, and able to maintain accurate records.
• Willing to work in a warehouse environment and conduct regular product inspections.
