We are committed to delivering excellence through efficient supply chain operations and building strong partnerships with our suppliers and stakeholders. Our company culture values teamwork, integrity and continuous improvement, and we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of operational efficiency.

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Associate to join our team in Jakarta on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing quality control activities for units in the yard, ensuring that every unit meets the required quality standards before delivery to customers. You will coordinate inspection schedules, monitor Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI), verify unit and documentation accuracy, and coordinate with Warehouse, Logistics, Sales, Service, and transportation partners to ensure delivery readiness.

This position requires a detail-oriented, quality-focused, and proactive professional who can lead inspection activities, identify and follow up on non-conformities, coordinate corrective actions, and ensure units meet the required standards before shipment.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee Quality Control (QC) activities for units within the yard to ensure compliance with applicable quality standards.
  • Prepare and coordinate unit inspection schedules in line with delivery targets.
  • Ensure all units undergo inspection based on the applicable QC Checklist and meet established quality standards.
  • Monitor Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) activities in accordance with Principal standards before units are delivered to customers.
  • Inspect and ensure the physical condition of units is free from non-conformities, including dents, scratches, rust, leaks, component damage, and missing accessories.
  • Verify the accuracy and consistency of unit identification, including Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), engine number, and serial number against the relevant documentation.
  • Coordinate unit readiness with Warehouse, Logistics, Sales, Service, and transportation partners to support smooth delivery processes.
  • Control the corrective action and follow-up process for identified Non-Conformities until the units meet the required standards.
  • Approve unit readiness before the issuance of delivery documents and/or shipment to customers.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Inspection, Automotive, Heavy Equipment, or a related industry will be an advantage.
  • Good understanding of quality control processes, unit inspection, and Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI).
  • Familiarity with QC checklists, inspection standards, and quality requirements from Principals or manufacturers.
  • Strong attention to detail in identifying physical defects, documentation discrepancies, and other quality issues.
  • Good understanding of Non-Conformity (NC) identification and corrective action follow-up.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills when working with Warehouse, Logistics, Sales, Service, and external transportation partners.
  • Ability to manage inspection schedules and ensure unit readiness according to delivery targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving quality issues.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for inspection records, monitoring, and reporting.
