Quality Control Chemist – HPLC / UV | Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

Overview

We are looking for a Quality Control Chemist to join our pharmaceutical manufacturing team at Changodar, Ahmedabad.

The position is suitable for candidates with an M.Sc. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a B.Pharm degree. Candidates having experience in drug chemical testing using HPLC or UV Spectrophotometer will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine quality control testing of pharmaceutical materials and products.
• Conduct laboratory testing as per established procedures.
• Perform chemical testing using laboratory instruments.
• Work with HPLC and UV Spectrophotometer where applicable.
• Maintain laboratory test records and documentation.
• Record observations and analytical results accurately.
• Follow laboratory procedures and quality requirements.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and work areas properly.
• Coordinate with relevant quality and production teams when required.
• Ensure testing activities are carried out accurately and systematically.

Qualification:

• M.Sc. Chemistry
• M.Sc. Biochemistry
• M.Sc. Biotechnology
• B.Pharm

Preferred Experience:

• Preferably 1 year of experience in drug chemical testing.
• Experience working with HPLC or UV Spectrophotometer will be preferred.
