Quality Control Chemist

Conduct chemical and physical testing of raw materials, molten metal and finished steel shot.

Analyze chemical composition, including Carbon, Silicon, Manganese, Chromium, Sulphur, Phosphorus, etc.

Operate and maintain OES/Spectrometer for chemical composition analysis.

Conduct quality tests such as hardness, particle size distribution, roundness/shape and microstructure of steel shot.

Collect samples from production and carry out in-process quality inspections.

Prepare batch-wise COA (Certificate of Analysis) and Test Certificates.

Ensure finished products meet customer specifications and applicable IS/ASTM/SAE standards.

Maintain proper laboratory records, test reports and product traceability.

Monitor calibration and proper functioning of laboratory instruments and testing equipment.

Identify quality deviations and coordinate with the Production Department for corrective actions.

Support investigation and resolution of customer complaints and product non-conformities.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly quality reports.

Follow laboratory safety procedures and maintain proper housekeeping.

Develop and maintain QC procedures, SOPs and testing records.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
