Quality Control Engineer

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

1. Licensed Civil Engineer.

2. Minimum two (2) years' experience as a Quality Control personnel.

3. Knowledgeable in AutoCAD and MS Office Applications.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITES

1. Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming construction materials and installation procedures set forth by the plans and specifications.
2. Perform standard testing for the materials prior to installation.
3. Inspect the quality conformance of the completed work and/or work in progress and coordinate with the Construction Group if not meeting quality, compliance and/or standard/s.
4. Document inspection results by completing detailed reports and performance records.
5. Coordinate with the Construction Group the quality control plan, inspection and testing schedules.
6. Monitor and control all non-conformances reports and undertake remedial action/s.
7. Reports all issues, problems, accomplishments, and results of surveys, inspections, meetings, and observations relating to the performance of the contract to the Operations Manager.
8. Resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
9. Perform other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

1. Proven hands-on work experience as a Quality Control personnel.
2. Full understanding of the quality control management and other related aspects.
3. Knowledgeable with the procedures, and regulations surrounding quality control standards and testing techniques.
4. Strong communication and presentation skills.
5. Well organized with excellent time management skills.
6. Result-oriented individual.
