Quality Control Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Ensure welding activities are performed as per approved WPS, PQR, and welding standards.
• Preparation of ITP / QAP as peer the customer specification.
• Review and understand the various project NDT and Welding requirement.
• Conduct in-process and final inspection of welded components and assemblies.
• Verify weld dimensions, visual quality, and compliance with drawings/specifications.
• Monitor welder qualification and maintain welder performance records.
• Control welding consumables storage, handling, and issuance.
• Educate shop floor welders to enhance the workmanship.
• Analysis welding defects and find out the root cause.
• Generate quality inspection reports and final quality dossier.
