Roles and Responsibilities:

• Incoming material inspection as per drawing and standards (QAP)
• Inspection of sub-assemblies and spares as per GAD, P&ID, or BOM
• Problem-solving using quality tools such as 7 QC Tools, Why-Why Analysis, and 8D
• NC preparation and management with CAPA and closure
• Calibration of monitoring and measuring instruments as per plan and maintaining records for the same
• Documentation and record-keeping of inspected parts as per QMS
• Monitor and verify surface treatment processes such as bead blasting, powder coating quality, and painting, and maintain inspection records
• Coordinate with Purchase, Production, and Design teams to address quality concerns during inspection and continual improvement

Essential Skills Required:

• Inspection of machining components - Inspection methods and techniques
• Problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience in using vernier, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, etc.
• Awareness of raw material standards such as ISO, ASME, ASTM, and DIN
• Very good documentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
• VMC, HMC, and CNC machining process knowledge
• CMM inspection
• Engineering drawing and GD&T understanding
• Adaptability, flexibility, teamwork, and collaboration
