Quality Control Engineer

Carry out incoming inspection of raw materials, castings, forgings, fabricated and machined parts, and bought-out hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical items Perform in-process inspection at fabrication, machining, welding, painting, and assembly stages Perform final inspection of machines before dispatch and complete dispatch clearance documentation Inspect dimensions, tolerances, surface finish, and hardness using vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, dial gauges, and surface roughness testers Check weld quality, paint / coating thickness, and material test certificates (MTC) against specifications Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and BOMs, and prepare inspection plans, checklists, and control plans Verify hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies for leakage, torque values, fitting tightness, and cleanliness Coordinate with the Testing team on pressure, leak, and performance test results Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCR), segregate and tag rejected material, and follow up on rework, scrap, or return to suppliers Perform root cause analysis (5 Why, 8D, Fishbone) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Maintain calibration schedules and records for all measuring instruments and gauges Support supplier quality: vendor audits, rating, and supplier corrective actions Handle customer complaints and support customer inspections and third-party audits Maintain quality records, inspection reports, and traceability, and prepare MIS on rejection and rework trends Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and internal quality procedures, and promote 5S and safety on the shop floor

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
