Quality Control Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for a Quality Supervisor to manage day-to-day quality inspection activities on the shop floor and ensure that products meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise quality inspection of raw materials, consumables, in-process and finished products.
• Ensure products meet engineering drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Identify defects and take corrective action to prevent rejection and rework.
• Coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams to resolve quality issues.
• Ensure proper inspection records and quality reports are maintained.
• Monitor product rejection, customer complaints and recurring defects.
• Guide and supervise quality inspectors and technicians.
• Ensure compliance with quality procedures and safety practices.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in shop-floor quality inspection.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and measuring instruments.
• Understanding of inspection procedures, defect identification and root cause analysis.
• Ability to coordinate with production teams and manage quality issues.
• Basic knowledge of quality documentation and reporting.

Eligibility

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant technical qualification.
• 5–7 years of experience in quality control within manufacturing, foundry, steel casting, fabrication or heavy engineering.

Preference will be given to candidates with practical shop-floor QC experience and the ability to control rejection and prevent defective products from reaching customers.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
