Quality Control Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Quality Control Executive to join LUXPRO PVD TITANIUM SDN. BHD. in a full-time position based in Balakong, Selangor. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards of product quality and ensuring that all manufacturing processes meet stringent industry specifications and customer requirements. As a Quality Control Executive, you will play a vital part in our commitment to excellence, working within the Manufacturing, Transport & Logistics sector with a focus on Quality Assurance & Control. This position offers the opportunity to develop your expertise in quality management whilst contributing directly to the success of our operations.

Key responsibilities

Conducting routine inspections and testing of products at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications

• Documenting and recording quality control data, test results and any deviations from established standards
• Identifying and analysing quality issues, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
• Liaising with production teams to communicate quality requirements and ensuring manufacturing processes align with quality protocols
• Maintaining detailed records of quality inspections, test certifications and compliance documentation
• Assisting in the calibration and maintenance of quality control equipment and testing apparatus
• Preparing quality reports and presenting findings to management and relevant stakeholders
• Collaborating with other departments to address quality concerns and support product development initiatives

What we're looking for

Diploma in Quality Management, Manufacturing or a related discipline

• Proven experience working in a quality control, quality assurance or manufacturing environment, preferably within the industrial or PVD coating sector
• Strong knowledge of quality control methodologies, inspection techniques and testing procedures
• Competence in using quality control equipment, measuring instruments and laboratory testing apparatus
• Proficiency in data recording, documentation and the use of quality control software or databases
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy and consistency
• Knowledge of PVD titanium coating processes or similar surface treatment technologies would be advantageous
