Quality Control Executive

About the role

This is a Quality Control role responsible for conducting inspections and testing of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure they meet company specifications and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and testing of incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods to ensure they meet company specifications and quality standards
• Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures, work instructions, and inspection checklists
• Monitor production processes and identify deviations, defects, or non-conformances, and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Maintain accurate quality records, test reports, and documentation for audit and traceability purposes
• Handle customer complaints and supplier quality issues, including investigation, reporting, and resolution
• Prepare and present quality performance reports (e.g., defect, reject and recovery) to management
• Support internal and external audits, and ensure compliance with ISO 17025, 14001, 9001 and other applicable standards and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with Production, R&D, Purchasing, and Warehouse teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
• Train and guide QC inspectors and production staff on quality standards and best practices

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Science, Quality Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills
• Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
• Proficient in and experience with statistical tools i.e Excel
