Quality Control Executive

Role & responsibilities

1. Inspection and Testing:

• Conduct visual inspections and perform various tests on foam products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications.
• Utilize testing equipment and tools to verify product attributes such as density, hardness, resilience, and other relevant properties.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection and testing results.

2. Quality Control Procedures:

• Implement and enforce established quality control procedures and protocols.
• Monitor production processes to identify deviations or non-compliance with quality standards.

3. Documentation and Reporting:

• Prepare detailed reports on inspection findings and testing results, highlighting any non- conformities or deviations from established standards.
• Provide regular updates to the Quality Control Manager and other relevant stakeholders.

4. Root Cause Analysis:

• Investigate and analyze the root causes of quality issues, customer complaints and recommend corrective actions (CAPA) to prevent reoccurrence.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive measures.

5. Calibration and Maintenance:

• Ensure that all testing equipment and instruments are calibrated, maintained, and operated according to established procedures.
• Arrange for timely calibration and maintenance activities.

6. Compliance and Regulatory Affairs:

• Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the foam industry.
• Ensure that the company's products adhere to all applicable quality and safety standards.

7. Supplier and Vendor Management:

• Conduct quality assessments of incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet specified quality standards.
• Collaborate with procurement teams to address quality concerns with suppliers and vendors.

8. Continuous Improvement:

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the development and implementation of quality enhancement initiatives.

9. Training and Development:

• Provide training to production teams on quality control processes, procedures, and best practices.
• Facilitate awareness sessions on quality standards and expectations.

10. Health and Safety:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing quality control activities.
• Report any safety hazards or concerns promptly.

Shifts : Rotational Shifts
