Quality Control Executive (QC)

What You'll Be Doing

• Monitor production and packing processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
• Perform sampling, inspection, and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products according to established procedures.
• Record and maintain accurate QC test results, inspection records, and quality documentation.
• Conduct and verify line clearance and production start-up checks before production begins.
• Perform quality checks for product processing, tank release, filling, and canning operations based on test results and specifications.
• Conduct swab testing and review CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) results to ensure hygiene and sanitation requirements are met.
• Identify, report, and follow up on quality abnormalities, out-of-specification results, and packing defects.
• Ensure all QC and cleaning records are completed accurately, updated, and properly maintained.
• Work closely with the QA team to address quality concerns and ensure compliance with quality procedures.
• Collaborate with the Production team to maintain consistent product quality and support smooth production operations.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with GMP, HACCP, food safety, and company procedures.
• Support other quality-related activities and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma in Food Technology or relevant qualification; SPM candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
• Experience in food manufacturing or a related industry will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, 5S, and Chemical Handling.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and reporting systems.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
